Dropshipping

A retail fulfillment method where a store doesn’t keep the products it sells in stock.

Dropshipping is a supply chain management method in which the retailer does not keep goods in stock but instead transfers customer orders and shipment details to a manufacturer, wholesaler, or another retailer, who then ships the goods directly to the customer.

For example, an online store might list products for sale and only purchase the items from a supplier after a customer has made a purchase.
