SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) is a unique identifier used by retailers to track inventory and sales of individual products. Each SKU represents a specific item, including its attributes such as size, color, and style.

For example, a clothing retailer might use different SKUs for a red T-shirt in sizes small, medium, and large.
